Staff training a great success!
All staff was scheduled for training to introduce them to C# or enhance their existing skills. In addition, our senior staff was giving Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) training. The following briefly outlines the training that was provided:

The training focused on practical experience using C# as an object-oriented language for application development using .NET Framework 4.5 to create programs. Courses cover encapsulation, inheritance and polymorphism, multilayer architectures, data types, event handling, database access, remote data access, and data encryption/decryption.
The course provided comprehensive coverage of concepts within the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL). In order to pass the ITIL Foundation exam, students are given practical assignments, practice exam questions and daily review sessions. They will also explore and evaluate good practice in IT service management based on the ITIL methodology. You also assess the activities, roles and security issues involved in the service management lifecycle and examine the components of each of the core service management.
This training results in certification that is recognized worldwide as a benchmark for information system security best practices. Staff are taught to demonstrate their knowledge of industry-wide information assurance topics, like systems security, network infrastructure, access control, assessments and audits, cryptography, and organizational security.
With this CompTIA Security+ training, REA staff now have the foundational knowledge needed to pass the CompTIA Security+ certification exam, and the skills to ensure compliance and operational security in your organization.
